In September 28, 2021 the Brine-Mining partners visited the Dębieńsko Coal Mine, in Poland, which constitutes an important case study for the project, due to the fact that the Dębieńsko desalination plant is the 1st plant at a global level that applies a Zero Liquid Discharge system to treat coal mine effluents, able also to recover salt of edible quality. The partners were toured in the premises of the Dębieńsko Coal Mine and collected valuable information on the experience of the plant’s operators.
