Visits of interested parties’ executive members in the LIFE Brine- Mining process train installation – May 2022

At the beginning of May 2022, representatives of Photonwater, a well-known company in the water treatment field in the Czech Republic, of TAURON, an energy holding company in Poland, and of PGG, Poland’s biggest coal mining company, visited the LIFE Brine-Mining pilot system installation and attended the placement and connection of the MED evaporator technology with the rest technologies of the system. Members of the project consortium guided the visitors in the pilot plant and informed them on the proposed innovative technologies by the project, its expected results, and the feasibility of transferability in other sectors, besides coal mining. More in detail:

May 5, 2022: Visit of Mr. Petr Kvapil, Managing Director of company Photonwater, in the Czech Republic. Members of the project consortium showed Mr. Kvapil around the pilot system and discussed the progress and the expected results of the project implementation. Mr. Kvapil and the members of the project, present at the site, took a commemorative photo in the LIFE Brine-Mining plant during the implementation works.

May 11, 2022: Visit of representatives from the owner company of the mine, PGG, that participates in the project aiming to incorporate coal mine wastewater treatment into a sustainable model of coal mine waste management. The PGG members inspected the LIFE Brine-Mining site and expressed their interest in the innovative process train. In the photo, the representatives of PGG together with members of the project consortium are presented.

May 11, 2022: Representatives from Tauron Wydobycie S.A., an energy holding company in Poland, were toured by LIFE Brine-Mining members in the innovative pilot system units. The members of TAURON were informed about the expected results of the project and the feasibility of transferability of the project technologies in other geographical areas and other sectors, besides coal mining. TAURON members and the LIFE Brine-Mining partners took a commemorative photo at the LIFE Brine-Mining plant.
